Hans-Joachim Kappis (9 December 1908 – 31 December 1970) was a highly decorated ''Hauptmann'' of the Reserves in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves.
